I’ve heard that dreams, illness, and drug trips are all terrible conversation pieces and I’m not here today to analyze why, but whatever that boring or uninterested or uncomfortable feeling is that creeps up when you find yourself in the middle of one of those conversations, is the same way I feel about pregnancy.

Nobody wants to hear about all the aches and pains and oozings and ailments. This is maybe something to explore or maybe not, but today I am throwing caution to the wind and made a 15-minute zine about some of the things that make me proud lately.

Book recommendation

I recently read Radioactive by Lauren Redniss — an illustrated biography about Marie Curie’s love life and career. I haven’t stopped thinking about the graphic storytelling or these hands.
