A referral-based freelance engine is so intriguing to me. As someone unfamiliar with that world, it’s interesting to think about how all those, I don’t like the term, but, I guess, “weak ties” become instrumental to keeping it going.
There’s something kind of communal about this, especially by not doing advertising/social media, in the sense that, it’s like, someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone. And having higher levels of introversion, this sounds like a solid approach. It’s very reassuring to hear about your experience!
Also, why would you want to get rid of the beret? If anything, that one should stay forever. AND DOGGGGGyyyy!! The sandy nose 🥺 Her paws look ginormous???? lol

I think the secret is to turn those initially weak ties into necessary, i-can't-imagine-working-in-any-other-way ties.
